Butler County Airport Authority operates the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport. AirQuest is our official FBO. The Butler County Airport Authority, which operates the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, KBTP, will commence imposing operating fees, “landing fees”, on January 1, 2026. Landing Fees All aircraft, including rotorcraft, unless exempted below, with a certificated maximum gross landing weight (MLW) of 6000 pounds or more, shall be assessed a landing fee of two dollars and zero cents per one thousand pounds rounded to the nearest one thousand pounds. No, AirQuest Aviation does not have a Designated Pilot Examiner on staff. When you're ready for your checkride, you'll need to book with an independent DPE. Ask the school if they can point you to one nearby.
