Our club was founded in 1957 in Naperville, Illinois. We feature late model Cessna aircraft at the lowest prices in the area. Our philosophy is to provide expertly maintained, safe aircraft at the lowest prices for the safe recreational flying of our members. We are located at Naper Aero Estates (LL10) on 83rd street one block east of Route 59, a private airport community in Naperville, Illinois. Our fleet consists of three beautifully maintained aircraft featuring a 2007 Cessna 182T G1000, a 1999 Cessna 172SP, and a 2007 Cessna 172S G1000. All aircraft are kept inside hangars. Our rental rates, dues structure, and equity buy-in costs are competitive and offer the best value in flying you can find anywhere. We are a non-profit aviation sport Club - not a commercial operation under the guise of a club. BFC members are a diverse group of men and women with all levels of flying experience. We welcome all pilots of any experience level or rating. We also welcome student pilots with no requirement for minimum hours flown. We have flight instructors in the club who will teach a student with no hours and lead that student to the private pilot rating. Instructors are also available to teach the instrument, commercial, and CFI ratings. We hold our General Meetings at the airport club house on the south end of the field on the first Tuesday of each month. During the winter, we start at 7:30 PM. During the months encompassing daylight savings time, we start at 5:00 PM with a work night which consists of washing and waxing the airplanes. We then break at 7:00 for a cookout, then start the business meeting at 7:30. You are welcome to join us for the regular meeting or for the work-night and cookout.
