Capitol City Flyers is Madison's premier equity flying club established in 1959. We have 30 members that own and operate 3 IFR aircraft: a 1980 Piper Archer PA-28-181, a 1978 Cessna Skylane R182 with retractable landing gear and a 2006 Diamond DA-40 with the G-1000 avionics package. Our motto is "A Plane for Any Mission". The purpose of the club is to promote safe, enjoyable flying and aviation-related activities, and to provide the opportunity for its members to fly aircraft economically and conveniently, supported by excellent service. We have a free social membership for anyone wishing to learn more about the club, share a flight with a club member, participate in club activities such as plane wash/wax events, maintenance seminars, club fly-outs, hangar-flying happy hours and club BBQ's.
