Ideal Aviation is a leading FAA Part 141 and Part 61 certified flight school located at St. Louis Downtown Airport (KCPS) in Sauget, Illinois. Offering comprehensive helicopter and fixed-wing pilot training programs from private pilot through commercial, instrument, multi-engine, and CFI ratings, Ideal Aviation features a modern fleet, state-of-the-art simulators, and over 15 experienced certified flight instructors. In partnership with Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC), students can earn college credits toward an Associate in Applied Science in Aviation Pilot Training.
