Learn 2 Fly CT is a friendly, family owned and run Part 61 flight school with CFIs and aircraft to help people earn all pilot certifications and ratings (except ATP). Soon to become the only flight school to have a fully electric aircraft for public use and training. We have won AOPA training awards several times since conception in 2018, and we pride ourselves in providing safe, efficient and accessible flight training for all who are interested in aviation. We have two bases - one at Harford-Brainard airport (KHFD), and one at the Simsbury airport (4B9). We are expecting to have Part 141 Certification which will allow military Veterans to use their GI Bill for civilian flight training soon. Learn 2 Fly CT, LLC's training fleet includes the Piper PA-28-151 (Warrior), Piper PA-28 (Warrior), Piper PA-28-141 (Cherokee), Piper PA-28-140 (Cherokee), Pipistrel Alpha (Alpha Trainer), and Piper PA-28-180 (Cherokee). Having multiple types in the fleet keeps your training on track if one plane is down for maintenance. Ask the school about current availability and any additional charges per aircraft.
