About
MILCO Airways Incorporated is a non-profit 501 (c) (7) corporation founded in March 1944, and are currently based out of Milwaukee’s Timmerman Field (KMWC). We are a tight knit flying club comprised of private, instrument, and commercially rated pilots that not only share the use of the club’s aircraft, but enjoy spending time flying together, learning from one another, supporting each other as safety pilots, promoting a safety culture, planning and attending social events, and the general camaraderie that comes from belonging to such a great group of people. Our aircraft is a 1979 Cessna 172N, which has been recently upgraded with Garmin ADS-B in/out, a GTN-750, Garmin Bluetooth audio panel, JPI engine monitor, and G5 AI and DG. It is an very clean plane given her age, and is cared for and loved by our fastidious and safety oriented club members.
