Naperville Flying Club is a well-established flying club based at Naper Aero Club Airport. The club, which has existed since 1958, has always prided itself on having multiple aircraft available. The current fleet includes a Cessna 172, Piper Archer, Beechcraft Debonair, and a Piper Saratoga and are all GPS and IFR-equipped. That variety allows for activities that range from training and burger runs to long cross country flights. Each club member is an equity owner of the airplanes, and membership is capped at 50 members, several of whom have been with the club for many years. Because the members own the aircraft, dues and rates are set to cover expenses rather than make a profit, maintaining NFC's rates among the lowest in the area. Ultimately, what holds the club together is the camaraderie of membership, and we seek members who wish to be long time contriutors to the club. One of the best ways to get an introduction is at a monthly club meeting held on the first Thursday of the month which is held as a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting.
