Providing Accessible & Affordable Flying to the Emporia Area Our mission is to provide members with a safe, clean, well-equipped airplane at the most economical rates possible. To join the corporation, you must buy a share of stock for $600 which is refunded when you resign from the corporation in good standing. New members also pay a $60 non-refundable processing fee. Monthly dues are $75. There are corporation-approved flight instructors available for instruction at various levels of training including a private pilot’s license and a instrument rating. The cost of obtaining a private pilot’s license is dependent on individual ability but will usually total between $4,000 and $5,500.
