Located in Springfield Missouri and established in 1951, the Hedgehoppers Flying Club exists for the pleasure flying of it's twenty members. The club currently has two planes, a 1986 Piper Archer PA28-181 and a 1973 Cessna Skyhawk 172. Both planes hangar at KSGF. Both are IFR certified with Garmin GTN650 touch screen GPS (go to LPV minimums). Each has ADS-B in and out displayed on the panel mounted GPS. Lowest club membership and flying rates you will find anywhere near Southwest Missouri. We have online scheduling with guaranteed weekends. We have several "social functions" each year such as cookouts during the summer and holiday parties during the winter. The Hedgehoppers Flying Club is an ownership club in which each of the 20 members has an ownership stake in the club and voting rights in club business.
